Serve as backup for the Southern Research Institute Archivist. Responsible for assisting in the operations of Document Management for quality and regulatory compliance areas of Southern Research Institute and the Southern Research Institute Archives. Primary activities are to assist in the operation of the individual systems that currently comprise Document Management including, but not limited to, the Standard Operating Procedure system, the Controlled Form system and Quality System Documents; assist in the maintenance, editing and design of the Controlled Document Collection on the company intranet, providing secure files for posting to the server to the Information Systems Specialist, as needed; assist in the control and track the issue/use of test methods, test and specification documents, Master Batch Production Records, lot numbers, and labels required in the production of clinical trial material; assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Controlled Forms required for Document Management; serve as Southern Research Institute Assistant Archivist, assisting in archive operations including the cataloging, storage and retrieval of archived materials and maintenance of the archives database, ensure proper access to the archival area and perform other duties that may be required by supervisor.

Responsible for creating ads, forms, letterhead, business cards, PowerPoint presentations and other graphics requested by the Institute in PC format using the appropriate versions of QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Jobs followed up with proofing and approval sequences. Responsible also for the execution of all print requests using a Xerox Docutech, aiding in the preparation and shipment of displays and marketing materials for nation-wide trade shows and completion of end-of-the-month inventories, order lists and reports for our Publications and Communications department.

Responsible for preparing electronic files for imposition and film output. Ensured that files trapped and separated properly and that they were prepared correctly for imposition. Responsibilities also included file manipulation such as color corrections, clipping paths and creation of die cuts for folders, tabs and special dies. All work done in both Mac and PC formats using the appropriate versions of QuarkXpress, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop and Acrobat. Files were prepared for imposition and printed through Rampage.

Responsible for design and layout of program schedules, posters, ads and other visual materials pertaining to the marketing of EWTN. Responsibilities included design and execution of needlework projects, from initial concept and rendering to colored floss selections and hand-charted patterns. Final designs, instructions and charts for cross-stitch, needlepoint and embroidery were printed in subscriber-supported and retail publications produced by the company.
